May 4, 2010 - Mustard Tree Instruments, LLC, a Cary, North Carolina technology start up, announces that its Red Tail product may prevent future recalls like the Children’s Tylenol by Johnson & Johnson Healthcare’s McNeil Pharmaceuticals division.
Red Tail is a new Raman Process Analytical instrument technology that can perform qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis as products are being manufactured. Monitoring the active ingredient in liquid drug formulations is one of the target areas for Red Tail.
